strings, patterns and permutations
dmtls as already [probably known] finds great pleasure in exploring and collecting. There are times he forces himself to a short halt to his inquires in order to enjoy [only a part] of already collected pieces. No strict field of interest but a constantly shifting and changing one, but that is not random. There are connections between all things. Some lay deeper hidden than others but there is hardly anything not connected to something else generally speaking and referring more specifically also to the aforementioned process. He was always fascinated by this and it was more than once that he thought of trying to model it or map it. This is the first serious [?] try. This experiment will be probably followed by the creation of another supplementary blog documenting these activities. From now on string posts will appear on merzbau. These series will follow paths and trails and hopefully help draw conclusions and shed light on obscure relations between all things strange and wonderful.

From the early experiments in typography and plays with typefaces of dadaists to kinetic typography.
A standalone work of art [not kinetic typography but nonetheless experimental and interesting], the remake of a famous movie scene and the dramatization of political speech. Letters and only letters are used and the results are stunning.
